Lavshuca Moist Melting Rouge

Lavshuca Moist Melting Rouge, HKD90

This is currently my favourite lip product.

The word "melting" describes this rouge perfectly. Each color glides onto the lips easily as if the product has just "melted" onto my lips. The rouge feels very moisturising. Another reason why I love this is because of the finish it gives my lips. The result is not as glossy as if I had used lip gloss, but leaves a juicy enough shine on my lips. Do expect you will finish the rouge pretty quickly as the lipstick is really soft and it feels like you have used a lot of product each time you swipe it across your lips.

BE-7 is my favorite of the lot. It is a great nude color and goes well with heavier eye makeup. It covers the lines of my lips well and the color does not "sink" into the lines and appear as if I have applied my lipcolor poorly. My second favorite color is RS-2. It's a mauve-y shade and I love colors that appear more purple/plum than pink.

When I tested the colors at Sasa in Hong Kong, I actually felt like buying the whole collection. I will definitely repurchase if my BE-7 ever runs out. For those who can't find Luvshuca in your country, try Adam Beauty =)

Tutorial: Esprique Precious Dual Gradation Eyes 2011 Spring Collection in D-4 (for Gentle & Natural Looking Eyes)

Finally =) I have a tutorial ready for sharing!

Esprique Precious Dual Gradation Eyes in D-4, HKD240

Strong white light

From left to right: C color- light pink, D color- deeper pink, A color- light grey, B color- dark grey, eye base- white

Colors are applied over the white eye base in the palette. This is the first time I don't find an eye base in an eyeshadow palette redundant - because the eye base is very shimmery and brightens up my lids beautifully.

For this tutorial, I followed the instructions given at the back of the palette. I also read the pamphlet of this collection. The Chinese description from the pamphlet is "自然温柔的印象". I like this palette because I can create both natural or smoky looks with the colors.

FINISHED LOOK: Gentle & Natural Looking Eyes
The pink used at the bottom lash line gives the eyes a romantic and gentle look

THE STEPS:

1. Apply the white eye base all over your eyelids.

2. Apply the light grey all over your crease. Make sure you apply way over the line of the crease.

3. Apply the dark grey to your upper lash line. Use a rounder brush to create a thicker line.

4. Using circular motions, apply more dark grey to the outer corner of upper eyelids.

5. Brush on the light pink to the entire lower lash line.

6. Apply the deeper pink to centre of the lower lash line to create romantic, gentle looking eyes.

7. Line your upper lash line with a brown eyeliner (instead of black, for a softer look). Also line about 1/5 of the lower waterline. Do not line the inner corner and the area where you had applied the deeper pink.

8. Draw white eyeliner to the rest of the lower waterline.

9. Apply black/ brown mascara.

ALL DONE!

And so... what did i wear today...?

Oversized shirt, patterned leggings, red bag, red flats

Look at my leggings - I LOVE them! From Bossini.... kids... (Hong Kong) hahahaa =D

M&M leggings - Extremely trendy when matched well

Cate Blanchett & Rochas SK-II 2010 Christmas Set Emulsion Compact (Limited Edition)

The SKII Cellumination Essence-in Foundation is my current favourite foundation. I love this foundation because of these reasons:
1) Evens out my skin tone
2) Makes me look fair
3) Easy to apply and spread
4) Good enough coverage
5) My skin appears fair even I remove the foundation

This is a cream compact foundation. It turns semi-powdery upon application. It gives a dewy finish, and gives your complexion a radiant glow.

You can imagine my excitement when SKII released a limited edition casing for this foundation this Christmas!!

This compact is the result of a collaboration between ROCHAS, Cate Blanchett and SKII. "ROCHAS is a fashion, beauty and perfume house founded in 1925 by Marcel Rochas, the first founder of 2/3 length of coats and skirts with pockets." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rochas). Cate Blanchett personally designed this beautiful champagne compact. This Christmas set comes with 3 things:

1) Emulsion Compact
2) Choice of Cellumination Essence-in Foundation or Skin Signature Cream-in Foundation
3) SKII Facial Treatment Essence in 150ml or 215ml

The price of the set is the price of the foundation refill + Facial Treatment Essence. So technically, the casing is free. I am not sure whether this is available elsewhere other than Hong Kong. I chose the Cellumination Essence-in Foundation (HKD400) and Facial Treatment Essence 215ml (HKD980).

The original case color is white.

New Hello Kitty 2010 Leather Wallet

New Hello Kitty leather wallet!!

Patent Leather, 4.25"X 3.25" approx, HKD320

Embroidered Hello Kitty wording, in pink

2 cards compartment

More spacing for cards

Zipped coins compartment

Once zipper is opened, there are 2 compartments

Cute heart shaped charm for the zipper

2 notes compartments

Another space for cards/ papers at the back of the wallet

2 closure bottons, in case the wallet gets thicker and thicker with... more shopping receipts...?

The sales told me this is their latest wallet design for 2010. It comes in light pink as well, with gold threading. Mine is black with pink threading. The leather for pink is not patent, but matte. I do not have much knowledge of different leather types, not sure if there is such a thing called matte leather =) The wallet is just the right size, perfect for ladies who love to carry small handbags.

Love my new wallet =D
