Lauren Bagliore in collaboration with DaDe Art & Design Lab and PARK present THE ART OF FASHION – an exclusive runway presentation, shopping event and fundraiser to end human trafficking.
Lauren Bagliore, a native New Yorker and graduate of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, will be showcasing her Fall/Winter 2011 Collection to a select number of clients and media on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the DaDe Art & Design Lab.
Having worked for legendary designer’s such as Vivienne Westwood in London, Zac Posen in New York and Paul Hardy in Canada, – it is no surprise that Lauren Bagliore, herself, is now amongst a new wave of designers to admire. Working alongside these couturiers has provided Lauren Bagliore with valuable experiences that have helped create her eponymous line.
Bagliore’s first collection launched for A/W 2010, “Un Bagliore di Speranza”, translated from Italian as “A Ray of Hope” and was titled this as the designer continually raises awareness through her business to end human trafficking globally. Lauren is continuing with her passion for this cause by donating all proceeds from ticket sales from this event towards fighting and preventing human trafficking (www.ratanak.org).
Lauren Bagliore – THE ART OF FASHION will be held at DaDe Art & Design Lab, 1327 9 Avenue SE on Thursday, November 3, 2011. Doors open at 7pm with an opening reception, followed by a fashion show at 8:15pm. Attendees will be given an exclusive opportunity to meet Lauren Bagliore after the show and participate in a private shopping event. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by contacting events@laurenbagliore.com. THE ART OF FASHION is an 18+ event, and guests are recommended to arrive slightly earlier as doors will be closed when show starts.
